Flow Analysis Services – CFD

Flows of liquid, gaseous or multiphasic fluids and their interactions with rigid structures generally present a high degree of complexity, and the measurement of their parameters can be a very difficult task.

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations allow to analyze virtually the detailed flow characteristics of any fluid (air, water, oil, mixtures, etc.), enabling the calculation of  pressure drop, velocity, pressure and temperature profiles, heat exchanges, among many other parameters.

As well as FEA analysis, CFD simulations enable changes and optimization of projects in the computational environment, significantly reducing the resources spent on prototypes, ensuring more reliable and assertive solutions especially in complex projects.

The CFD simulations can be applied to any project involving fluid flow, with some common applications of CFD simulations being design of valves, turbines, compressors, collectors, catalysts, exhaust fans, among many others.

The simulation of external flows also allows the calculation and optimization of the forces of lift, drag and downforce in analyzes of vehicular aerodynamics, nautical and aeronautics.
